Hello my name is Marielle, I was born in a surburb to Stockholm in Sweden the 20th of July 1972. In my childhood my family used to be in Lapland quite often, as my mom is from there. My father is from Dalarna (have you heard about the Dalah?st? This is usually a red painted wooden horse, for the ones who don't know).I have 2 younger sisters. None of them have showed any interest in modelling. Before I started to model I studied to get a bachelor's degree in computer science and engineering, with software development as my main subject. I have also worked as a consultant in the IT business before everything collapsed. After that I started to work as a personal assistant (medical care) for four years. Now I'm searching for another job. So if you know of something, let me know, ok? :-) I started to model in 2002 and enjoy very much being in front of the camera. Another thing I really enjoy is to travel, so I thought back then: "why don't put these two things together and try the modelling thing out? In that way I can travel and be in front of the camera at the same time." So there I was... A lot of shoots later, with magazines, calendars, commercials and film & TV work on the resume, I have thought about taking theather lessons to be able to do more on film. As I'm not so young anymore this is the way I'm aiming over time. :-) My interests? Animals, nature, trips to exotic places (and not so exotic ;-) ), scuba-diving, reading, salsa dance, my computer and website, learning new things and experience new things. I also like to get new great pictures of me. Modeling is a way to get it, so you will see this website updated from time to time.
